Below you will find various spreadsheets and forms which I hope you will find are useful tools for mediators and negotiators alike.

• Decision tree examples document (doc, 44kb) This document contains a few simple worked examples of mediation decision trees.
• Decision tree spreadsheet (xls, 28kb) This spreadsheet has an example of a common mediation decision tree and associated sensitivity table. You can play with the numbers to suit your own circumstances.
• Mediation agreement (doc, 44kb) A good mediation agreement should cover all the bases, yet be clear and understandable. I hope this does both.
• Mediation preparation note (doc, 58kb) I give this to most of my clients in advance of mediation. It forces them to think through in a structured manner most of the key features of the negotiation. The better prepared you are, the more comfortable you are likely to be with your final decision – settle or otherwise.
